Phase 1:

Status:

As a requirement to implementation of PBS within your organization, your PBS Leadership Team must have launched some of the necessary elements in this phase. Your PBS Leadership Team may still be learning about the components of PBS, and assessing how the organization may need to change in order to fully implement PBS. During this process, your team is charged with identifying available resources, both internally and externally, and should be in the early stages of developing the PBS Action Plan (implementation and strategic plan), even though it’s likely that most of your workforce isn’t fully aware of PBS yet. Your resources, both financial and human capital, may not fully be in place or may not be allocated appropriately. PBS Leadership Team and executive leadership education and buy-in are paramount in this initial phase.
